The University of Murcia, through Service Attention to Diversity and Volunteering is, in turn, host entity and coordinating entity.
The project objectives are:
-Facilitate collaboration among European volunteers and volunteers from the University of Murcia.
-Being able to know the social reality of the Region of Murcia through the groups at risk of exclusion and the work of different entities and NGOs.
-Supporting to the university volunteer and facilitate its work, the technical support team ADYV.
-Disseminate the work of each and every one of the volunteers of the University in its various activities and projects.
-To link these volunteers through social networks, forums, and various channels available to facilitate the exchange of experiences and networking.
-To support and learn of the situation of disabled students of the University and the resources to achieve and facilitate their integration.
-Accompany and assist volunteers who accompany these students with disabilities.

The main objective of the project is the partnership and exchange between European volunteers and volunteers from the University of Murcia. Among the tasks of the European voluntary, are support professionals ADYV in managing projects and volunteer activities, facilitate networking and exchange of experiences of university volunteer, spread all activities of the volunteer results, the impact of their action and their personal experiences. And especially it will work very closely with students with disabilities, knowing your reality and contributing together ADYV professionals and volunteers, in integrating them into university life.
Volunteers will be developing their activities:
-Place for collaboration with the Unit for Students with Disabilities at the University of Murcia with the following tasks:
-Assist in the implementation of a database of students with disabilities and their different needs and resources.
-Attend and assist in orientation sessions and information to these students with disabilities
-Assist and support the group of university volunteers who accompany their peers with disabilities, through meetings, visits and emails.
-Assist in the organization of courses, conferences and awareness raising on disability issues
General criteria for selection of volunteers:
a) Over 18 years.
b) Sensitive or near the university world, not outside university life and the concerns of people in our community. No particular need a college degree.
c) With social motivation and desire to learn how to manage projects of solidarity and volunteerism, engage them and participate in them.
d) Social skills to work in contact with students, supporting tasks of information to the university community, outreach and awareness will be evaluated. Also working with computer databases and internet management skills.
e) Interest in disabilities, communication skills and teamwork, tolerant, flexible, responsive to the reality of people living with disabilities and to transmit their energy to users.
